About

Business Psychologist and Experienced Educator

25+ Years of Experience

I am a trained coach and experienced educator with over 25 years’ practice in leadership and management. I have diverse experience in different organisational cultures, and business environments.

My career includes teaching adults returning to learning, training business owners and senior managers in leadership skills, mentoring and board governance, lecturing research methods to business school postgraduates, providing training to artists on developing business acumen.

Early career highlights include being an academic psychology researcher working with a team of economists, sponsored by the Heath & Safety Executive, to research a statistical value of life.

I am currently studying for a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) with the Swiss School of Business and Management, Geneva. My thesis is on the application of business psychology methods and practices in SME’s.

I have experienced fast growth as an SME and have also separated from a family business.

I live with my partner, two sons and cockapoo in our cottage on Anglesey in North Wales. I have a passion for the arts, all things creative and a deep appreciation of the outdoors. I am also a non-executive director for the arts organisations Articulture. www.articulture-wales.co.uk

I undergo regular supervision to be able to coach without judgement and I find it central to my success.

My approach to coaching is systemic and relational. This means, I work with systems in mind, addressing entrenched thoughts and behaviours, in order to unlock potential and drive up performance.
